A pedestrian collision in Fort Collins last Saturday, resulted in serious injuries for the pedestrian involved.
According to the Fort Collins Police Department, the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on the evening of November 13th, in the 800 block of West Prospect Road near Whitcomb Street.
Apparently, the pedestrian was crossing in the middle of the block when they were struck by a Hyundai Sonata. The Hyundai contained three passengers, none of whom were injured. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The pedestrian was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Police are continuing to investigate, and do not believe the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
