According to Fort Collins Police Services, the man was in the roadway, mid-block, when a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado struck him. Then, a 2007 Subaru Impreza that was traveling behind the Silverado hit the pedestrian as well.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, neither driver of the vehicles suffered injuries.
South College Avenue between Trilby Road and Carpenter Road was closed for about five hours while authorities processed the scene.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased.
